Give the Gift of an Experience

Thank you for considering a welding class at Mr. G’s Workshop as a gift. Giving an experience—something hands-on, memorable, and confidence-building—is often more meaningful than giving an object.

You can feel confident knowing your friend or family member will be taken care of. Mr. G is a longtime high school shop teacher with over 20 years of experience. The class is designed for beginners with real hands-on learning. By the end of the session, students are laying down welds that actually hold material together, and those welds are tested in a vise before they leave.

How gift certificates work:
Purchasing a gift certificate keeps scheduling flexible. When the recipient is ready, they choose a class date from the schedule and call, text, or email Mr. G to get added to the roster. If the listed times don’t work, they can suggest a preferred time. If there’s enough interest, a new class can be added.

Welding 101 is a four-hour, beginner-friendly experience.
