Metal Fabrication 101 – Build Your Own Welding Table
Two 3-Hour Sessions | 6 Hours Total
Prerequisites: Welding 101 and Welding 201
Take your welding skills to the next level by learning how to design, cut, bend, assemble, and weld your very own steel welding table!
In this hands-on class, you'll experience the complete metal fabrication process, from computer-aided design (CAD) to a finished product you can take home.
What You'll Learn
CAD Design: Learn the basics of computer-aided design and how to prepare parts for fabrication.
CNC Plasma Cutting: Transfer your design to our CNC plasma cutting table and cut your parts from flat steel.
Sheet Metal Bending: Use a hydraulic press to bend your flat parts into their final shapes.
Fit-Up & Assembly: Learn how to align, clamp, and tack-weld your components together.
Welding & Finishing: Apply the MIG welding skills you've learned in previous classes to complete your table.
What You'll Take Home
By the end of the second session, you'll have your own steel welding table, built by you from start to finish!
This class is held over two consecutive days, such as Tuesday and Wednesday, with three hours of instruction each day.
